Wenn is a photographic agency that specialises in celebrity photo’s and news from around the world and stands for World Entertainment News Network.
They have offices in London, Los Angeles, New York, Las Vegas and many other cities around the world where there are a high density of celebrities and celebrity events and assocaited industries that revolve round these people.
Essentially not a site for surfers, but more for webmasters that specialise in celebrities and celebrity news, the content from these people is second to none as FJ Girls has trialled the service behind the scenes for a week or so after being approached by this agency, and is considering using it some time in the future!
Top celebrity sites and blogs do use this photo and news service, with the news service only incurring one fee and the associated photos incurring another. There is the ability for WENN to personalise the service and photo format and size and tailor the RSS feed for site syndication which saves a lot of cutting and cropping in Photoshop or similar. This service does come at a price but for webmasters running serious celebrity websites, up to the minute photo’s in some shape or form are vital as female stars in particular are prone to violent changes in appearance, Victoria Beckham being a recent case in point.
Highly Recommended but website revenues need to be solid to pay for this service as it is not cheap.

A site we found recently with quality mainly US video features of all the stars both male and female in video format in paparazzi style, most of which are bordering more towards the tastefully done where the stars being filmed normally look fairly chilled or even welcome the camera and not that harassed leave me alone sort of footage that nobody wishes to view.
The style of X17video.com is big and bold and colourful and in your face with a hint of style which is par for the course with celebrity websites.
Types of footage that appear on here would be celebrity events and gala’s, airports arrivals and departures, film set shoots on location (normally city streets), stars entering/leaving high class restaurants, and everyday shots such as at hotels, stage door’s at tv shows, street scenes, shopping, outside star’s homes and more.
Used at FJ Girls as a backup to a news story with a recent example being Beyonce performing live at the Rockefeller centre days ago. Gives a different perspective from the normal news media videos.
A very good site but a lot of work is involved to track down a particular event or piece of footage, but is well worth the trouble as it can turn up some real diamonds.
Rated as very good and with easy scripting for embedding it’s a celebrity webmaster’s essential website.

Celebrity Puke
Yes we know……. that is the name of the site and what a name it is!. Quite a high ranked site this one all the same and there’s good reason.
Official description of the site is: CelebrityPuke.com is an online celebrity gossip magazine with up to date celebrity news, gossip, and exclusive candid pictures of Hollywood s hottest celebrities.
Celebrity Puke is about the more unconventional celebrity news, the stuff that makes us laugh or have a little snigger and there’s some we have to say good footage and write ups on here and with some in your face size photos that are also not the conventional celebrity production line material that you are going to see everywhere.
Updates are daily with a couple of posts on average a day and it has got to be one of the easiest sites to navigate as everything is one page.
If you are into celebrity gossips, rumours, photos that are that bit different , with a bit of humour thrown in as well, Celebrity Puke is definetly worth a look if you are looking for a lighter approach to celebrity news.
Holy Moly
Holy Moly if you haven’t heard of this one………….where have you been!
Heat World is your tabloid version of say something like the quality and authorative OK Magazine and website. Holy Moly is …………….well a breed of its own.
It’s been around since 2002 and this one of those cult following sites that is now currently ranked at 38000 in the world so it gets fair amount of hits and is up there with the likes of FreshDames and HeatWorld, its that sort of calibre as regards hits and popularity but thats where the similarity ends.
Holy Moly is a very informal sort of website in a blog style which we have to say we have not seen anything similar. The first thing that caught our eye is the mailing list subscription list application with a “Stick your first name here” and “Stick your surname here” this sets the tone for whats to come.
Got to say there’s some big wow size pictures on here for the headlines instead of those miniscule thumbs where you can just make out who it is. This is all hand written stuff and this site as far as we know is run by a student.
This is a love it or hate it sort of site but the content we have to say is there, its exclusive instead of duplicated or farmed, and all the main headlines feature, but all treated with that Holy Moly approach of a bit of cutting sarcasm wit with some alternative views on what is happening on the celeb arena. The person that runs this site quite obviously lives and breathes celebrities…and it shows.
There’s a merchandise section, competitions, a forum and much more. A very difficult site to put into words this one, the picture above probably does a better job. The only way to find out what Holy Moly is all about is to go there and dive in!
