 Emma Watson is female celebrity of the month for July 09. At only 19, she is famous for her role in the Harry Potter films playing Hermione Granger. Emma Watson has recently been made the face of Burberry with her now appearing in the latest ad campaigns in the UK and also spearheading the launch of the new Burberry presence in New York.
Photo by julanszki Harry Potter is her most renowned and famous role though, and the latest offering Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince will be released this month and the film premiere also being held this month looks set to be a big event and the anticipated media frenzy on this film release looks to be big! She's not only an actress, she's in demand for all types of magazine photoshoots the most recent being Elle UK and Vogue. There's been constant rumours that she may be quitting acting to go to University as she is a highly intelligent person and recent confirmations have born this out with her supposedly enrolling in a University in New York (name known but kept quiet) the same one other actors have attended including Maggie Gyllenhaal, Casey Affleck, Julia Stiles, Amanda Peet, Matthew Fox, James Franco, Anna Paquin, Ed Harris and Jake Gyllenhaal. If this is true then she plans to be studying for a period of three years from this Autumn and according to her current plans will return to acting when these studies have finished. She is keen by all accounts to shake off the "squeaky clean" image so interesting times could be ahead in a few years time.
